Delete my Wavelength account
Last updated: 14 October 2026
From the app (easiest)
- Open Wavelength and go to the My profile tab.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, write to greendroid_contact@yahoo.com with the subject « Delete my account », from the email address of your Google account (this is how we check that it is really you). We delete the account within 30 days at most and confirm it by email.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile: first name, date of birth, criteria, location, bio.
- Your questionnaire and optional answers.
- All your photos (original and blurred).
- Your conversations and their messages, for you and for the people you talked to.
- Your settings and notification identifiers.
What is kept
- Two irreversibly hashed fingerprints (of the Google account and of the device), for 3 years, only so that the free period is not renewed by simply signing up again. They cannot be used to identify you.
- Any reports concerning you, for 1 year after they are handled, for users' safety.
You can sign up again later if you wish, but the free discovery period will not be renewed.
